Mike Tassinari has sent us an update about the May Jamboree at the Oak Haven Family Campground in Wales, Massachusetts. The rally runs from Thursday, May 12 until Sunday, May 15, 2016.
“We have an exciting 2016 North-East Truck Camping Jamboree schedule and your Wagon Masters are hard at work finishing up the events for their respective Jamborees this season.
Geraldine Roy and David Snow are the Wagon Masters for our first Jamboree next month in Wales, Massachusetts. The Brimfield Antique Show is being held the same weekend as the Jamboree.
Forty sites have been reserved for the North-East Truck Camping Jamboree Group. These 40 sites will only be held until the end of Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Then, the Campground will release any sites not reserved by our group to the general public. The campground is only ten miles away from the antique show, so it has a waiting list of RVers wanting sites. Please call today if you’d like to reserve a site.
There is a 10% off the daily rate when you say that you’re with the North-East Truck Camping Jamboree. Call the campground at 413-245-7145 to make your reservation. There is a full refund (less $15.00 service charge) for reservations cancelled before seven days. Please do not show up unannounced as we cannot guarantee a place for you.
I would like to keep a few surprises till the Calendar of Events is sent out in May, but I can say that David Snow is going to do a seminar on Fire Arms Safety. Some of you may not know that David is certified by both the NRA and Commonwealth of Massachusetts state police.
We have two craft seminars planned where some painting and creativity are involved. We always have some type of hamburger or hot dog supper planned. We asked Stonie and Dot Stonestreet to make their famous Clam Choudaaaaa. We will need a few chefs to help out so we will be looking for volunteers to work with Dot and Stonie that Friday afternoon.
